The Ezz Al Arab Group, the official local agent for the Proton brand in the Egyptian market, has announced a price reduction for the Malaysian brand's "Saga" car, which belongs to the locally assembled economic sedan category. Since its launch in the Egyptian market, the Saga has gained good popularity among economic cars in the sub-compact sedan category. The car is equipped with a 1.3-liter, 4-cylinder engine that produces 95 horsepower and 120 Nm of torque. It features front-wheel drive and a 4-speed automatic transmission, with a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 14.5 seconds. Its top speed reaches 155 km/h, while its average fuel consumption is approximately 6 liters per 100 km.
The car also comes with a 7-inch touchscreen, LED interior lighting, tinted side and rear windows for privacy, 15-inch wheels, and safety features such as anti-lock brakes, brake force distribution, brake assist, a rear camera, and an anti-theft engine immobilizer system.
