Jeep has dropped its first image and some early tidbits of production-spec info for its new, battery-electric SUV – the Wagoneer S. The brand says its new electric car will first go on sale in the US market towards the end of 2024, before going on sale in more markets around the world from 2025.اضافة اعلان

The new Wagoneer S will likely sit below the Grand Cherokee in terms of size, and is expected to be one of the first cars to use the Stellantis group’s STLA-Large platform that’s designed for bigger, plusher EVs. It still looks familiarly Jeep, with the brand’s seven-slot grille being blanked off and backlit in that very 2020s sort of way.
As well as dropping an early image of the front end, Jeep has also confirmed some performance numbers. Jeep says the Wagoneer S will be available with up to 600 horsepower and will be able to accelerate to 60mph in just 3.5sec.

The Wagoneer S will be the second of three EVs being launched by Jeep for markets around the world; the first was the baby Avenger and the third will the Recon – a rougher, tougher Wrangler-adjacent 4×4. Christian Meunier, former boss of the Jeep brand, told CAR in 2023: ‘It’s amazing to know these two babies are based on the same platform, but it’s a day-and-night difference – one is a rocket and the other is a brick on wheels!’
Jeep is expected to launch the Wagoneer S in the spring of 2024.
