Nissan Egypt has announced the introduction of the third generation of its revolutionary e-POWER technology in the Nissan Qashqai, reaffirming the company’s pioneering role in advancing sustainable mobility standards across Africa.اضافة اعلان
The company organized a unique, first-of-its-kind event on the African continent, giving select media representatives and influencers the opportunity to test-drive the latest version of its global icon, the Nissan Patrol. The event reflects Nissan’s strong commitment to combining technological innovation with powerful performance to meet the expectations of customers across the African market.

The e-POWER technology in the Nissan Qashqai brings a breakthrough to the concept of electric drive systems, offering a driving experience similar to that of fully electric vehicles—without the need for any external charging source.
At the same time, the latest generation of this technology delivers Nissan’s most advanced fuel-efficiency performance in the C-SUV segment, with consumption reaching 4.6 liters per 100 km according to WLTP tests, while CO₂ emissions do not exceed 102 g/km, and the driving range reaches approximately 1,200 km.
In addition, vehicles equipped with this technology now offer a quieter cabin and superior responsiveness, allowing the Qashqai to set a new benchmark for smooth and luxurious driving across all road conditions.
Unlike other electrified powertrains, the e-POWER system relies on a petrol engine that operates solely as a generator to charge the vehicle’s battery, while wheel traction comes entirely from the electric motor. This design delivers a worry-free electric-like driving experience with instant torque and smooth acceleration, making the technology ideal for markets with limited charging-station infrastructure.

To highlight this significant technological leap, African media representatives will—for the first time in Africa—have the exclusive opportunity to test-drive the new Patrol, Nissan’s symbol of uncompromising power and capability, which was officially launched across the continent earlier this year. Together, the Qashqai e-POWER and the new Patrol embody Nissan’s commitment to innovation and reaffirm its technological leadership in the SUV category.
In celebration of these achievements, Nissan Egypt organized a two-day flagship event titled Red Sea SUV Drive in El Gouna, bringing together media representatives, partners, and Nissan dealers from across Africa. The event included exclusive test-drive experiences of the latest models, interactive discussions with Nissan experts on the company’s electrified-mobility strategy, and direct networking opportunities between executive leaders and regional dealers. During the event, participants will gain first-hand insights into Nissan’s innovations and its contributions to shaping the future of mobility in Africa and beyond.
